A component of the Exi-Glow Life Safety Egress System of photoluminescent products Unparalleled in reliability, Exi-Glow Exit Signs utilize the latest photoluminescent technology to absorb and store ambient fluorescent, metal halide or mercury vapor light. In the event of an emergency with blackout or smoky conditions this stored energy is immediately visible, creating a clearly recognizable, photoluminescent egress indicator. Exi-Glow Exit Signs reduce the risk of panic or injury during an evacuation, offering greater peace of mind while saving on energy costs.

WHAT IS EXI-GLOW?
A non-toxic, non-radioactive film which glows in the dark after exposure to a light source. The film absorbs and stores energy from ambient or UV light and then releases this energy in the event of darkness. Note: For Exit Signs, it must be determined that there is a minimum of 54 lux of fluorescent, metal halide or mercury vapor light on the face(s) of the sign at all times during building occupancy.
