The ESW-PL50 Series Exit Sign utilize the latest photoluminescent technology to absorb and store ambient fluorescent, metal halide or mercury vapor light and LED Light. In the event of an emergency with blackout or smokey conditions this stored energy is immediately visible, creating a clearly recognizable, photoluminescent egress indicator. Exit Signs reduce the risk of panic or injury during an evacuation, offering greater peace of mind while saving on energy costs.

ESW-PL50 absorbs and stores energy from any ambient or UV light source, it the releases this energy in the event of darkness. This process works in 2 phases.
