Recessed T-Bar Emergency Lighitng Unit (City of Chicago Approved)

The ESW Recessed T-Bar CH-RM Series combines performance and dependability into a rugged 20 gauge enclosure. Designed specifically for T-bar type ceiling grid systems, this recessed installation provides a clean, architectural appearance. The CR Series is available with a wide range of lamp heads to fit any application.

ILLUMINATION
Illumination is accomplished with up to four thermoplastic or metal lamp heads mounted on bottom of the unit. Lamp heads are available in 6 or 12 volt, in tungsten or halogen configurations in a wide range of wattages for any application.
HOUSING
Constructed of 20 gauge steel with a white corrosion resistant, epoxy powder coat finish.
ELECTRONICS
120/277 VAC dual voltage input with surge protected, solid state circuitry provides for a reliable charging system. Charging system is complete with low voltage disconnect, AC lockout, brownout protection, AC indicator lamp and test switch.
BATTERY
Maintenance-free, sealed lead acid battery(s) performs in an an operating temperature range of 65°F (19°C) to 85°F (30°C). Batteries supply 90 minutes of emergency power. Battery lockout circuit allows battery to be connected even when AC power is not available.
INSTALLATION
Easily mounted with T-bar mouting bracket located on each side of the unit that aligns the unit onto the T-bar grid. Various chain holes can also be accessed to chain mount the unit to secure points above the ceiling.
CONFORMANCE TO CODES & STANDARDS
Exit Sign Warehouse products are electrically safe and meet or exceed the following: UL 924, N.E.C. and N.F.P.A. Life Safety Code 101.
WARRANTY
Any component that fails due to manufacturer's defect is guaranteed for 5 years, with a 5 year prorated warranty on the battery. Warranty does not apply to damages caused by improper installation, abuse, fire or acts of God.
